I am a Sophomore, I go to Richland High School and you came and did an assembly today. It was very good. I liked how you put in the names of the September 11th and all of the work that you put into everything that you have thought about...i enjoyed it...and even had a tear by the time that it was over. It also sowed me to persue all of my dreams and realize that everyone isn't here for ever, so take it in while you can.
thanks and keep it up...
imm looking forward to seeing the finnishing project!
OK, so i went to your presentation today at Richland Highschool! i dont go to RHS, but i came to it with my school Rivers Edge Highschool. I was so amazed at how beautiful your mind works. i was so amazed at all the sentimental value that you put into you. every single piece of art that you had on the piece of work had a reason for it. You opened my eyes to soi much stuff. It doesnt matter what you do with your life, just make it worth it. and i think what you are doing i would say is DEFINATELY worth it! I hope that your project goes well. wish i could be one of the signatures! lol. YOU ROCK! for sure!
Hello, your performance at Richland High School in Richland, WA Today was Awesome. I think that what you are doing is simply Amazing, and Hopefully you can keep it going. Could You maybe let me know how i could get a sample of your work either on the dvd or any other way? I would sure appreciate it. And once again, Splendid Work.
Thank you! What a fantastic idea. Students I spoke to after the assembly were amazed at the genius of what you are doing. Thank you for a showing us your vision and letting us be a part of the Signature Project!
Thank you sooo very much for sharing your passion in life with Richland High. Your speach really spoke to me personally. During the last month I have been perparing for my mother to go to Heaven, which she did on Febuary 17th. She was a wonderful women filled with a passion for life, and she loved God. When you were speaking at my school you were sharing with us about your father that passed away, and you mentioned certain things that he enjoyed. Some of the things that you were talking about were the same things that my mom loved in life like, the color red, she loved wind chimes, and she was going to turn 43 in june, and she loved music, and her memorial that were having this Saturday on the 10th is called,"Celebration of Life". she wanted people to celebrate the fact that she was going to Heaven and not to be sad. On valintimes day this year I found a song that also spoke to me by the lyrics and placed it on a picture that I took of her. Some of it goes like
WOW!!! that was so amazing. how did you ever come up with all of that stuff?! that was sooooo cool i want to see it over again. most of all i wnat to see it when it is finished! thanks so much!
I just wanted to say thank you for including me in your vision. You visited our high school today and allowed the teachers and several students to sign square 118. I'm the redhead, and although I might look like I stepped off the Irish moors, my family originally came to the United States from Scotland. :) I appreciated your use of technology and a multi-layered approach to art and life. I hope the students will take your vision and put their own lives into perspective and take the opportunity to go after their dreams. Your dream is beautiful!
Much success and happiness,
Everything in your presentation of your art was so touching to everyone watching. Like the painting of your father that linked to your nephew. That made so many stundents here at Wa-Hi feel so touched. And the names of the people who died on the 911 attacks are a part of your painting. Just WOW!!!! Good luck to finish your project! It will be amazing!
I think your project is cool and great, but why do only "special students" get to sign the project. I sat through your entire presentation at my high school thinking "Oh wow, I get to sign it!" and then you told me how only students with a "piece of paper" get to sign it. Well I think that's not cool and so now my feeling for the signature project has gone from "Wow, I'm inspired, that's cool", to "I hope the signature project fails because you won't include everyone." If you're celebrating life, then include EVERYONE not just certain people. It was almost as if you wasted my time. In other words... I hope the signature project fails!
Thank you Patrick Dunning for coming to out school today. Your presintation was a huge inspiration, eye opening, interesting, and very amusing. This was honestly the BEST asembly I have ever went to. Today when i signed one of the billions of tiny squares i was shaking...wierd i know, maybe it was because you dint actually pick me and i wasnt sapose to be there:D but i did feel like i was now part of something HUGE, this is the most unique art work and i am honered to have my name in just one of thoes billions of spots. What you are doing is amazing, you are amazing! It's people like you who make a difference. I can't wait to see the final piece!
