Thank you for returning to Monroe, WA with another fantastic presentation of "The signature project." The students, instructors and volunteers at Kids Create ALL enjoyed seeing your creative talents in music, art and technology. The volunteers who signed were thrilled (and honored)to be part of this awesome project.
One student summed up your presentation perfectly: "It rocked with coolness!" Thanks for making the trip up and for inspiring our students to "reach for the stars" with their own creativity.
My 2 children attend and I work, at Bay View school. I had the unique opportunity to see your show and the many faces of the surrounding staff and children while they watched in awe. WOW! It was such an exciting presentation, layered art with immense depth and soul. You have touched and shared with so many people on your journey.
Yours was truely on of the best assemblies we have had. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself through art.
It was an exhilarating experience to see the signature project at my grandson's school, Frank Love Elementary in Bothell, WA. I have been painting since I was eleven, but I get into periods when it seems that it is just the same thing over and over. It really fires my imagination to see what other directions artists have gone and are going. I hope to draw from this and bring life back into my own art. This is monumental work that is still on a human scale. The individual signatures tie all humanity together.
Patrick's performance and art were an inspiration to all of us at Illahee Elementary in Vancouver, WA. It is an awesome thing to delve so deeply into one piece of art with so many facets. To the students, Patrick's work displays a wonderful connection of math, science, history, art, literacy and creativity. Thank you for sharing your heart with us and allowing us to become a part of the art of life! Many students commented that this performance is the best assembly they have ever witnessed. Keep up the great work.
I treasure every day that I volunteer in clas with my children, but today stands out as one of my favorite days ever. The immense depth of your project opened my mind to so many visions that seem to be passed over when focusing on life from the surface. Watching your vision unfold was almost as moving as watching my 6 year old son hold his breath while he took it all in! Thank you so much for sharing with us!
I loved your assembly!I've been in the teaching profession for over seventeen years and I have to say that this was one of the best assemblies ever. All the students loved it. They were captivated the entire time. It made you laugh and made you feel sad. What a brilliant man to have such a creative mind to even think of the things he has done. I think all the schools should take advantage of this awsome assembly. Everyone leaves with a different perspective. All with smiles, all thinking about what they have just seen , heard, and felt. I feel honored to have signed my signature. Thank you so much for sharing with us. The assembly was wonderful and I'll be always looking to see what's next in the signature project. I attended your assembly on October 8, 2002, in Lake Stevens, WA. You have inspired many children as well as adults. I was very touched by all of the time and energy you have spent making such a significant piece of art. You bring the world closer together. Thank you for the experience!! AMAZING!!
The Signature Project Assembly is fantastic. I was impressed by the integration of technology, art, music, and performance but most of all I loved the message of life, peace and diversity. What a wonderful counterbalance to fear of differences, terror and war. Communities everywhere could benefit from the inspiration provided by this project!
I think your project is amazing, i felt it was such an honor to sign my name on this project! I cant wait to see what it looks like when your finished and how many signatures will be on it. After seeing your wonderful presintation I think it made people look at art in such a different way. I think the best part of this project is how you wrote all the different names of the people of 9-11, that was such a respectfull thing to do. its just amazing how talented you are and i'm so glad to be part of it! thank you.
